| On the day after Christmas the weather was a rare combination of very calm, clear blue skies and generally speaking warm temperatures to the folks taking a shortened ride on the Mount Washington Cog RR when coal fired engines were the norm. Here engine #8 "Moosilauke" is on it's ascent after shortly leaving the station with this being the second of two trips that were pretty much filled to capacity . The towers on the summit can be seen which also has a radio station as well as other centers. |
