Westbound Chicago, IL, to San Bernardino, CA, Q-train is working upgrade between East and West Ethel on the Marceline Sub. The train passes Ethel Lake on the westside of town. While it looks like this train has plenty of power, the train lugs along with only 2 units working. This is a pretty common theme on most railroads in 2019 to save money.
