| The Deseret Power Railroad: Definitely a highlight of the "Spike 150" trip in early May 2019, we were able to find ourselves seeing the isolated and little-seen railroad that is the Deseret Power Railroad. Now the final privately owned railroad to utilize GE E60 locomotive variants, this railroad has many unique features that appeal to the railfan eye. Here we see the afternoon run or "Swing" nearing its afternoon arrival at the Deseret Power Plant with 44 loads of coal, as it passes under UT-45. |
