Remarks & Notes

As a Conrail piggyback train rolls by on the ex-PRR, a solo New Jersey DOT RDC running as a Bayonne-Cranford shuttle picks up passengers at the former Jersey Central station in Elizabeth, NJ. Three months after this photo, this service was discontinued. In 2020 the tracks are gone but the station building survives.
