For a couple years into the Conrail era, the Chessie System continued to use its ancestral Baltimore & Ohio trackage rights over the former Reading and Jersey Central to run freights from Philadelphia into the New York area. Here a pair of B&O EMDs lead a westbound freight out of Elizabethport yard through the former CNJ station at Elizabeth, NJ.
