| "M&E MP15DC Clearing Western Ave in SI"
The New York Container Terminal Express Rail crew clears Western Ave while shoving a cut of stacks into the New York Container Terminal Yard in Staten Island, New York. The crew is utilizing Morristown & Erie Railway's EMD MP15DC #2354, which is on loan while the company's "Genset" locomotive; CLCX #2058 receives some needed prime mover repairs at the M&E's shop. CLCX #2058 is a PL1500-4RS built by Process Locomtives from a former Peoria & Eastern GP20 and features a Tier 3, 1560HP CAT Engine. This locomotive was purchased by NYCT Express Rail years ago to replace a leased GMTX GP38-2. |
