| Snow has been hard to come by so far this winter. So with a snow storm overnight and a rare 3 westbounds out of Dubuque morning, we setout for the morning to do some Dubuque Sub action. An empty grain train bound for Ida Grove crawls out out Manchester near MP 233. With 100 empties and the rear unit along for the ride this guy will get down below 25 mph as they climb the grade. The train is 1 of 6 trains that would pass between Dubuque and Waterloo in daylight on a rare busy Saturday. |
