On October 13, 2014, open air observation car “Silver Cliff” is in the consist of the Ca?on City & Royal Gorge passenger train that ventures along the Arkansas River through magnificent Royal Gorge west of Ca?on City, Colorado. It is built from a former Canadian National coach, and note how old fashioned truss rods are used to restore integral strength to the car after removal of much of the upper carbody.
