| Norfolk Southern no. 3556 made a return appearance later on the same day it went west with a detour freight. Here it is running long hood first with an eastbound detour freight on Soo Line trackage after crossing the Mississippi River and is entering Savanna, IL. I'm not sure where the power swap was made, but the unit was photographed earlier in the afternoon crossing the river on a westbound train. |
