| A Soo Line freight with intermodal traffic approaches the BN crossing as it heads through Savanna, IL and will cross the Mississippi River and enter Iowa. The Kansas City bound train is powered by a pair of some of CP's first GP38s. Units 3000-3019 were delivered in 1970 in candy cane Action Red, and the units seen here look as delivered except for being repainted into the simpler striped scheme and acquiring ditch lights. |
