| Early this month, a series of collapses at the Hoosac Tunnel caused Pan Am Railways to search for a route their trains could take.
Vermont Railways was selected to handle their manifest trains and a deal was made with CSX to handle their intermodal traffic.
Seen here, Detour train 11R-17 traverses the B&R route paused here in Sunderland for a crew change. We had staged ourselves up the road, but rushed down to the crossing to catch them in the sun. |
