| CN 4721 and WC 1565 pair up at Proctor, MN at the former DMIR engine facilities. The WC SW1500 looks right at home in its maroon and gold scheme. CN 4721 was built by GMD as CN 5521 in January 1973. It spent a number of years in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. WC 1565 was built as Kentucky & Indiana Terminal no. 76 by EMD in March 1971. It went on to Southern Ry., and was acquired by Wisconsin Central from Norfolk Southern. WC was taken over by CN in 2001. |
