Remarks & Notes

DMIR 317, an SDM rebuilt from an SD9, idles at DMIR's Proctor engine facilities along with DMIR 418, a former Seaboard Coastline SD45-2 which has been rebuilt into an SD40-3.Missabe had two former SD45-2s on their roster as they acquired used power to replace aging SD9s and SD18s.
