After arriving at the American Rock Salt mine in Mount Morris, NY, the crews from GW-1 and the mine perform the "swap". GW-1 first uncouples from the string of empties they brought in, and shoves in to connect to the loaded train waiting for them in the yard. Next the mine crew uses 2 two G&W end cabs (1000 & 1001, both SW1001s) to pull the empty train out of the way so GW-1 can leave the mine with the loaded train. The two end cabs work hard as they start to pull the train into the siding track.
