The former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy/Burlington Northern branch from Holdridge, Nebraska, to Sterling, Colorado, is now operated by Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado RailNet. In this view on January 24, 1998, they have just arrived in Sterling and back their train into the BNSF yard. NKCR No. 3 is a former Santa Fe CF7 that Santa Fe rebuilt from EMD F3A No. 31C.
