Remarks & Notes

One of our favorite spots when chasing JSA-1/NE-1 to Allentown was the Mechlin Corner Road overpass in Jutland, NJ., which was easily accessible from Route 78. Here is NE-1 with 3 C420s in the Summer of 1975. I got in trouble on this day when I ran across the road without looking to get a going away shot of this train and caused a car to stop short.
