Remarks & Notes

A westbound Susquehanna haulage train exercises trackage rights on Conrail’s Southern Tier line to move tonnage between its Southern and Northern Divisions. This was the only time that I recall seeing five of the NYS&W Alcos on one train – four C430’s and one C420.
