| Slight drizzle ensures that I'm alone this morning, road is empty as I take the short walk passing over tunnel Klavze. No hurry, there is still 30 minutes left for the Avtovlak to arrive. It is a comfortable spot sitting on the guardrail just picking up my camera as Spanka no. 20 pops out of tunnel Kne?a with a short set of flatcars carrying one car. Just as it disappears underneath, the driver starts to rev that 12-645E making the valley echo the sound I love. Now to the sad part: this service also fell for the restrictions COVID-19 caused: Slovenian Railways ceased all passenger operations in the country 2 weeks ago. |
