| An unusually beautiful winter day in West Michigan led to an otherwise perfect chase of the semi-daily Grand Rapids Eastern's run to King Milling in Lowell, with about a dozen or so hoppers bound for the railroad's largest customer. Loaned GP38-2 #2024 is from sister G&W and former RailAmerica property Mid-Michigan Railroad. Ironically, this unit is the former Grand Rapids Eastern 5106 that ran this line during the early RailAmerica and Railtex days. |
