Burlington Northern EMD SD40 No. 6318 displays a hybrid paint scheme at the locomotive facility at Cicero Yard on August 25, 1990. The standard paint scheme that BN had at since the beginning with a white-striped nose is combined with a “white face” cab front that was used on a new variation of the Cascade green scheme in 1989.
