SCMaglev and Railway Park exhibit two experimental shinkansen trains introduced in the mid-1990s, 300X and MLX01. 300X was a prototype to test the design features of the existing 700, N700 Series, while MLX01 is an experimental maglev train that used to break the world speed record of train at 581km/h in 2003.
