The busy [period at Brockville, Ontario extended past the departure of the Ottawa section of an eastbound train. An FPA4/FPB4 pair has coupled onto the cars dropped on the main, and is making a hasty exit for Montreal. The S3 powering the CP local from Smiths Falls has moved closer to the photographer, uncoupled its train, and is now retrieving more cars to add to its train. Finally, the headlight glare past the distant rod crossing is from one of three CN GP9’s pulling a train that is leaving the yard that is out of sight in the distance.
