| Some 19 years after the last train rolled through here, the Columbus & Greenville's trestle over Little Black Creek still stands. Mother nature has begun her process of reclaiming the area with a few pine trees beginning to grow on the far end of the trestle. This section of track between Greenwood and West Point has been embargoed since 2001 after a bridge washout in Carroll County. It is my understanding that CAGY does spray the weeds along the ROW and perform some basic work on the line when necessary. |
