    Remarks & Notes
Was it a deliberate choice? In an irony that was seemingly lost on all in attendance, The State of New York and MTA New York City Transit Subway press conference and announcement of the shuttering of the subways between 0100-0500 and other measures for cleaning of trains was held on May 1, 2020 in the subway yard in the area of Queens, NY known as Flushing. But employees of NYCT and educated observers will know that it is properly called Corona Yard, and was named as such almost 100 years before the present COVID-19 crisis. Attention should be paid in an apolitical manor to the deaths of 98 MTA workers as announced by Chairmen Pat Foye related to this outbreak, and their memories should forever be a blessing for their friends and families. During a visit on June 7, 2014, a view of the inspection tracks shows both Bombardier built R62As 1751 and the "Seinfeld" wrapped set with 1711, along with flags of the United States of America, New York State, New York City, and MTA NYC Transit amongst others.
