Two Conrail trains with two SD50’s each meet at East Penn Junction, Pennsylvania. On the far track, a westbound manifest is pulling from Allentown Yard. An eastbound train of empty Bethlehem Steel coke cars is approaching, and will drop down “in the hole” to take the former Lehigh Valley to the steel works in Bethlehem.
