| DR1564 & DR1565 sit stabled at Calingiri under a rainbow and some dark clouds with 3RT1 loaded rail train. This Watco WA Rail operated rail train has terminated here at Calingiri having meant to be bound for Miling at the end of the branch. An issue that went undetected until Calingiri was that the DR class locomotives are too heavy to operate on this line and hence, were forced to stable once the problem was brought to the attention of the Network Controller. It may have been a blessing in disguise as the heavy downpour of rain that occurred before and after this photo was snapped, caused washaways further up the line. |
