| A pair of Maryland Area Regional Commuter electric locomotives were getting prepped for afternoon runs at the Amtrak/MARC engine facility in Ivy City, Washington DC, on January 22, 2015. Marc 4900 is an EMD/ASEA AEM-7, and MARC 4914 is a newer HHP-8 built by Bombardier-Alstom. Photographed on railroad property with permission and full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). |
