A westbound mail train is attacking the mountain on a May afternoon. Power is typical of the era - a trio of four axle GE and EMD power, although newer units were soon to take over. The scene is between Horseshoe Curve and MG in McGinley's Curve, where the railroad turns away from the Burgoon Run valley high on the mountainside.
