| A Metro-North work extra passes Valley Transit District’s headquarters in Derby. VTD provides public transportation in the lower half of the Naugatuck Valley. Since early April, the Waterbury Branch has been shutdown for ongoing track work and the installation of PTC (Positive Train Control). This work train dropped new ballast between Ansonia and Seymour.
