| A westbound trio of "tiger SD40-2s lead an empty hopper train through a series of s-curves just outside of downtown Akron. This particular Wheeling and Lake Erie train can be seen most evenings using trackage rights over the CSX Newcastle Subdivision through Akron. It carries a CSX train number: Z642, and provides a refreshing break from the common widecab blue and yellow locomotives characteristic of CSX mainlines. |
