Soo Line SW9s 2119 and 2118 picking up a transfer from the BN at Rices Point Yard in Duluth July 1980. These SW9s were built in September 1953 for the original Wisconsin Central. The 2119 was painted into the "Superior" scheme in October 1978 and the 2118 received the "Duluth" scheme in the fall of 1979. Not long after this photo was snapped, these switchers were painted back to the standard Soo Line scheme and returned to working out of Schiller Park. John C. Benson Photo from my Collection.
