| The "Gelenktriebwagen" (articulated lowfloor regional train) RABe 520 # 008 "Luzern" of the SBB was built by StadlerRail for the Seetal line Lenzburg-Beinwil am See-Hochdorf-Lucerne mainly. 17 of tis vehicles were delivered in 2002 with 760 kW and 115 km/h maximum velocity. They have lowfloor entrance of 35 cm above head of the rails only. The 17 RABe 520 are undergoing a refurbishment after about half of their lifetime, this is a rebuilt vehicle with slightly changed paint scheme. RABe 520 # 008 is running the S 9 service 21952 from Lucerne via Emmenbrücke-Eschenbach-Hochdorf-Beinwil am See to Lenzburg, between Ballwil and Hochdorf Sch?nau. |
