| CN local L55581 goes to work at Stone Lake, WI. On this day is made a run up to Hayward Jct., about half a mile north of this photo. The local interchanges cars there with Wisconsin Great Northern who serves a Louisiana Pacific plant just west of Hayward. The train has picked up the loads and is headed back to Stone Lake where the same local will run the cars to Owen, WI for pick up to move to Stevens Point for classifying. SD60s are the norm for northwestern WI locals in summer 2020. |
