    Remarks & Notes
After cresting the summit of Donner Pass a couple of miles back, the MOGRV exits the Norden snowshed led by a clean UP 6355. This unit is on home rails, having started its life as an SP AC4400CW. UP is well underway with replacing the remaining SP era signal bridges on Donner, so get them while you can. The chairlift towers seen above the Norden snowshed are for Sugar Bowl Resort's Mt. Judah Express Quad. You can bet that both of my kids know where the run "Tunnel 41" on Mt. Judah got its name from, as well as where Mt. Judah got its name.
