| Back in the days before it became a national park with rangers ensuring your eternal safety, one could access the backside, the outer portion of the Horseshoe Curve. Doing so in August of 1986 enabled such photos as this which are apparently now unobtainable as Conrail C36-7 leads a westbound up the Curve, framed in dense foliage. |
