Last weekend MáV organized a Nostalgia Weekend at Lake Balaton, where guests could try out several retro locomotives from the ’60s and ’70s.
As a novelty event this year, a steam locomotive was also on the rails, and besides the previously known dark blue high-speed train, a green passenger train was introduced. Thanks to the reorganized Passenger Service, passengers could experience the on-board hospitality of both old and modern times in the dining cars on each train.
