Florida Gulf and Atlantic's train TA-East powers by West End Lee siding led by FGAR 6300 in the railroads Flag Paint Scheme. The 6300 and 7195 are being forwarded on tonights turn-back run at lee to the LC west crew. In turn they'll forward this to the BA turn crew in the morning. That would result in a great eastbound chase to Baldwin from Lake city the following morning. But for now here is the train passing one of, if not the last, set of SAL side by side signals in existence.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
