      Remarks & Notes
Branford Steam Railroad SW1001 7357 leads a train of loaded stone cars south at Twin Lakes Road in North Branford, heading for the dock at Juniper Point. This engine rarely left the quarry in recent years as a GMTX Leaser with dynamic brakes was used instead. This week the leased engine is in New Haven getting wheel work so the SW had to fill in as the road power. The Branford Steam Railroad is an industrial railroad serving the Tilcon stone quarry in North Branford, running 6.2 Miles south to the Dock at Juniper Point. The BSRR also interchanges with Providence & Worcester at the yard at Pine Orchard.
