Burlington Northern GE C30-7 No. 5554 passes a sister locomotive on another coal empty on a siding just east of Donkey Creek on May 29, 1998. Empty coal trains are frequently staged here waiting to head south on the Orin Line for loading, when the mine is ready for them. Later, BNSF even built a new yard at this location for the same purpose, which has recently closed due to the decline in coal business.
