| Vancouver Olympic CP8876 muscles a coal train into the setting sun at Notch Hill, BC. The Huge 10 degree Horseshoe at Notch hill was part a massive 1970s-80s grade relocation project that lowered the transcontinental mainlines westward ruling grade to 1%. The lower approach to the horseshoe can be seen above the power. |
