The Soviet locomotive class P36 (4-8-4) with tourist passenger train "Ruskeala express" goes from Sortavala to Ruskeala park. That train @Ruskeal.express runs regularly every day on this route. This project is a part of the strategy of Russian Railways (RZD) in order to preserve the historical heritage of the Russian railways and for development of domestic tourism. Karelia republic is a picturesque region at the north of Russia with unique nature with many lakes and rocks. Welcome to Russia!
