Cogwheel freighttrain of the Wengernalpbahn leaving Salzegg for Grindelwald Grund. Railcar BDhe 4/4 # 112 from 1963 is pulling freight car X # 770, which was built in 2017 by the WAB/Steck and Brun. This is a platform car for the transport of stillage with several goods loaded. In the background is the temporary transshipment station, from were the paltforms are transported by a ropeway to the Eigergletscher, for the construction works new ropeway Grindelwald-Eigergletscher, which will open in december 2020. One of the masts which you can see, is of the chairlift Arvengarten-Eigergletscher from 2009, running over the Salzegg station.
