    With thunderstorms brewing to the east, a westbound Burlington Northern coal train is seen departing Guernsey, Wyoming, on July 4, 1988. Behind lead BN EMD SD40-2 No. 7281 is a pair each of run through locomotives from Santa Fe and Union Pacific in the colorful consist.
