Rare Mileage: Housatonic RR's GP7U 22 takes it's return trip over the Housatonic River in Derby, CT after returning from Maine. The 22 was sent to Pan Am for heavy maintenance at their shops in Waterville, ME. This portion of the Maybrook is only used when the Housatonic needs to send locomotives out for heavy repairs, making this move extremely rare. It is also rare to see this move in daylight, most of the time it happens in darkness.
