Greenville and Western pulls with 5 cars bound for the CSX interchange in Pelzer, 12 miles to the north. G&W positioned themselves in the clear, allowed Pickens to shove the outbound cars onto the G&W main, and then coupled up and pulled. As soon as Greenville and Western cleared, Pickens moved south into the yard to pick up their train, which consisted of one car remaining from the ones they shoved over, boxes G&W had brought from CSX earlier in the day, and two ethanol empties that Pickens had shoved over a little earlier on their way to switch at Honea Path.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
