| Legendary engineer Sigi Liechti on the throttle of the 3000 horsepower 2-8-2 "Mikado" 141 R # 1244 on the trip from Brugg AG via Berne to Lausanne, near Fribourg. The heavy fuel oil fired, canadian built steamlocomotive made the inauguration trip after a 12 years rebuilding. The train had 9 car and a weight of about 500 ton. |
