| Cogwheel snowblower locomotive He 2/3 # 8 of the Rigibahnen, built in 1930 by SLM and MFO for the Arth-Rigi-Bahn (ARB), is running down the mountain as train 168 from Rigi Kulm to Arth Goldau, entering Rigi Staffel. The body of the locomotive including the blower unit can be turned 180 degrees. It has a second pantograph, which is used for ice cratching only. The locomotive was never used in timetabled passenger service for the last 38 years. The cars are B # 32 from 1875 and B # 11 "Bambus" from 1889/reconstructed 1999. |
