| Amtrak has a network of Thruway Service connections that operate as an extension of a train route, all booked seamlessly under one reservation to help serve outlying areas where direct rail service is not feasible. Wilson, NC is one such location where a dedicated motor coach meets with the Carolinian and Palmetto. |
