| SBB Re 4/4 II No 11173 has just been acquired for preservation by the Association of Depot and Rail Vehicles Koblenz (DSF), Switzerland. The loco is the first of its type to be preserved and is seen 38 years ago heading out of St.Gallen just after crossing the Sitter bridge with the 14.23 stopping train to Zurich HB. It had latterly been working for SBB Cargo as No 420 173. |
