| "NYCT TGC4 at Fresh Pond"
New York City Transit's Track Geometry Car (TGC4) holds on the lead at New York & Atlantic Railway's Fresh Pond Yard for a freight to pass before heading to LIRR's Holban Yard. The ex-NYNH&H Fresh Pond Bridge stands tall in the background.
TGC4 is one of a handful of special vehicles that roams the NYCT system inspecting the tracks for defects but was "contracted" by the LIRR for the weekend to inspect the East Side Access Tunnels. |
